The National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya is being established as an Institution of National Importance, with funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The academic activities of the institute shall be started in Shillong at the Bijni Complex of NEHU in the city from July, 2012.

Applications in Prescribed Form are invited from Indian nationals for the faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for appointment on permanent/ contract/ deputation basis, possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work, passion for teaching & research and an inclination towards institution building.

1. Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE) - 2 nos.

2. Associate Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Math/Physics/Chemistry) - 4 nos.

3. Assistant Professor (ECE/CSE/EEE/Mech/Maths/Physics/Chemistry/English) - 9 nos.

Positions are available in the Departments of (1) Electronics & Communication Engineering, (2) Computer Science & Engineering, (3) Electrical & Electronics Engineering, (4) Mechanical Engineering, (5) Mathematics, (6) Physics, (7) Chemistry, and (8) Humanities for specialization in English.
